Mushroom Island is a little bit far from your starting point.
There is an area on the Mushroom Island where it connected directly to savannah. In that biome border, there are Ocean Ruins you can found.
Because the distance between the starting point is a little bit far from Mushroom Island. When you go to the Mushroom Island you may found new undiscovered generated structures along the way. This includes Ruined Portal, Ocean Ruins, or even Shipwreck.
