The Camel is a new mob that was announced at Minecraft Live 2022. Later, in the Trails and Tales update, the Camel was introduced as one of the new additions. It features a creamy, vibrant color and a unique sitting animation.

Here’s an interesting fact about Minecraft Camels that makes them very useful in the game:

• Camels are passive mobs that spawn naturally in the middle of Desert Villages.

• Similar to other rideable mobs, players can use a Saddle on a Camel.
• One Camel can be ridden by up to two players simultaneously, making journeys with another player effortless.
• It doesn’t have an inventory slot other than the Saddle slot.
• Unlike Horses and Donkeys, players don’t need to tame the Camel first before equipping the Saddle.

• Because of their tall legs, hostile mobs like Zombies, Vindicators, Hoglins, Silverfish, Endermites, and Piglins (that hold a golden sword) can’t attack players who ride the Camel.
• Camels can step up onto fences, wall bricks, and iron bars, aiding players in accessing different areas where fences or wall bricks are prevalent.

• Camels can “dash” by pressing and holding the jump button while riding. This allows the Camel to run very fast for a short period. After dashing, it requires a short cooldown before it can dash again. This feature is useful for escaping hostile mobs or simply traveling quickly.

• Sometimes Camels will sit after wandering aimlessly for a second. Once a Camel sits, players can’t move or push it (unless it gets hurt).

How to Breed Two Camels

Camels like to eat Cacti, so players holding a Cacti will be followed by Camels. Here’s how to breed them:

1. Hold at least two Cacti, one for each Camel.
2. Click on the first Camel, which will immediately reduce the number of Cacti you hold. A love particle will appear.
3. Repeat the process with the second Camel. The love particle will also be visible from the second Camel. Both Camels will then produce a baby Camel.
