Here are trees that are currently in Minecraft. Each of these trees is unique, they are generated in different places, have different textures and shapes.

So here they are.

Overworld Trees

Acacia Tree

This is Acacia Tree.

Acacia Trees are naturally generated in the Savannah biome. Some Acacia Trees have branches, and their leaves are flat on top. The outer skin of the Acacia Wood is grey, but the inner is orange.

The color of its leaves reflects its biome. Since Acacia Trees are generated naturally in the Savannah biome, their leaves seem always to have mustard-green color. If you try to grow Acacia Tree on another biome, the leaves’ color will reflect that biome.

Villages that generate in savannah are using Acacia Tree as their building material.

If Acacia leaves are destroyed, there are chances to drop Acacia Saplings.

Birch Tree

This is Birch Tree.

Birch Trees are the brightest trees in Minecraft. They are only generated in the Forest, Birch Forest, and the Roofed Forest.

Birch Tree has variant too, Tall Birch Tree which only generates in tall Birch Forest biome.

Some Birch Trees may generate Bee Nest attached to them if there are flowers around. Birch decorative blocks have bright gold-Crayola colors.

If Birch leaves are destroyed, there are chances to drop Birch Saplings.

Dark Oak Tree

This is Dark Oak Tree.

Dark Oak Trees are generated in the Roofed Forest (Dark Forest). Just like Oak Tree, if their leaves are destroyed, there is a chance an Apple drop. Dark Oak Saplings may drop as well.

Dark Oak Tree’s trunk is thicker than Oak Tree, and they have branches too. One Dark Oak Tree can produce a lot of wood.

Dark Oak Trees are generated close to each other, making the Roofed Forest receive less light because of their leaves.

Pillager Outpost and Woodland Mansion are using Dark Oak as their building material.

Jungle Tree

Jungle Trees are generated in the Jungle biome. They have two variants, the one that is very tall and has a thick trunk (image above), and the small one, which looks like a Birch Tree with a different texture.

The regular Jungle Tree may be generated with Cocoa Pods attached to it. You can destroy fully grown Cocoa Pods to get Cocoa Beans that later can be used to make Cookies and Brown Dye.

The giant Jungle Tree is very tall, has branches and vines. If Jungle Tree leaves are destroyed, there are chances to drop Jungle Saplings.

Oak Tree

Oak Tree is the most common tree you will find in the overworld. They are everywhere. They have variations too, some Oak Tree might be taller and have branches, and the others may have different leaves shape.

Some Oak Trees are also generated with Bee Nest attached to it. If their leaves are destroyed, there is a chance to get Oak Saplings or Apples.

Some Oak Trees may generate Bee Nest attached to them if there are flowers around.

Villages that generate on Plains, Forest, Roofed Forest, or Swamp are using Oak as their building material.

Spruce Tree

This is Spruce Tree.

Spruce Trees are native to Taiga and Gaint Tree Taiga. They are also common trees, with dark colors both outer and inner.

Spruce Trees have two variants, the normal one (image above) and the giant one, that only generate in Giant Tree Taiga biome.

The regular Spruce Trees have sub-variant. The one that looks like the image above with leaves at the top and the rest is the trunk. Or the other one, which looks like a Christmas Tree.

Villages that generate in Snow Tundra or Taiga uses Spruce as their building material.

The Nether Trees

When the Nether Update was released, the update came with two types of trees that only generate on specific biomes inside the Nether. They are not actual trees, they are Fungi, that later grow into Giant Fungi. I called them trees because they clearly represent trees in Minecraft would look and how they used.

These two trees that existed in the Nether are for the alternative resources inside the Nether. The alternative for wood in the overworld. Just like Hoglins as to Pigs for meat.

So here they are.

Crimson Tree (Giant Crimson Fungus)

Giant Crimson Fungus

This is Crimson Tree (Giant Crimson Fungus).

Crimson Tree (Giant Crimson Fungus) is native to the Crimson Forest biome in the Nether. Its trunk (Crimson Stem) has red glowing veins. On top of the tree, you can find Nether Wart Blocks and Shroomlights (the most beautiful block, in my opinion).

Shroomlight emits light, this will help the players roam the Crimson Forest safely.

The decoration blocks crafted from Crimson Stem have purple colors.

Unlike overworld trees, where players can destroy tree leaves to get saplings for replanting, Crimson Tree grows from Crimson Fungus. To get Crimson Fungus, players can find them in Crimson Forest or Warped Forest (rare).

You can breed Hoglins with Crimson Fungi.

Warped Tree (Giant Warped Fungus)

Giant Warped Fungus

This is Warped Tree (Giant Warped Fungus).

Warped Tree (Giant Warped Fungus) is native to Warped Forest in the Nether. Its trunk (Warped Stem) has a blue glowing vein. On top of the tree, you can find Warped Wart Blocks and Shoormlights.

The decoration blocks crafted from Warped Stem have blue colors.

Unlike overworld trees, where players can destroy tree leaves to get saplings for replanting, Warped Tree grows from Warped Fungus. To get Warped Fungus, players can find them in Warped Forest or Crimson Forest (rare).

Warped Fungus can be crafted into Warped Fungus On A Stick. Warped Fungus can also be placed to scare off Hoglins.
