Brewing Stand Overview

All Brewing Stand Locations

Places where Brewing Stand is naturally generated.
End Ship | Igloo’s Chamber Room | Village Church

Brewing Stand is 1 of the 13 job site blocks Villager use to work. A Villager who works with Brewing Stand is called a Cleric. You can always found Brewing Stand in the Village Church/Cleric’s house, Igloo Chamber Room, and End Ships.

If there is an unemployed/jobless Villager standing near the Brewing Stand, it will become a Cleric.

Brewing Stand is an item used for brewing potions. It works by putting Blaze Powder as a fuel, some items as an ingredient, and a couple of bottles filled with potions or water.

How to Use Brewing Stand

Brewing Awkward Potions using Brewing Stand.

To use Brewing Stand, you need to put Blaze Powder as fuel into the left slot (where you can see the Blaze Powder pattern). After that, you need to put 3 Bottles filled with Potions or Water depending on what Potion you want to make.

Last but not least, put the specific item at the top slot to start brewing the Potion. It takes about 20 seconds to brew Potion using a Brewing Stand.

Notes:

  1. The specific item here means the particular item to make the Potion itself. Each Potion has a different item as a requirement. For example, to make an Awkward Potion, you need to use Nether Wart.
  2. You can brew Potions up to 20 times using a single Blaze Powder.
  3. All Potions in Minecraft use Awkward Potion as their base Potion.

Brewing Stand also can upgrade and extend the duration of Potions. Extending the duration period of Potions requires Redstone while Upgrading the effect of Potions requires Glowstone.
