Netherite Ingot is a new type of material that is added in the Nether Update. It can be used to upgrade Diamond items/gear like Diamond Chestplate, Diamond Pickaxe, etc. into Netherite item using the Smithing Table. Netherite Ingot also can be used to select power in the Beacon. Netherite Ingot is stronger and more durable than Diamond.

What makes it unique is that Netherite Ingot cannot be burned, and it floats on Lava. Netherite Scrap combined with Gold Ingot will become Netherite IngotUnlike other Ores in Minecraft, Netherite Ingot cannot be obtained by mining a “Netherite Ore” Player must combine Netherite Scrap and Gold Ingot to get it.

How to Get Netherite ScrapAncient Debris

To get Netherite Scrap, you need to find Ancient Debris in the Nether first. But Ancient Debris is extremely rare, so be patient when searching them.

Here are tips for mining the Ancient Debris.

  1. Try mine in Y=15 (most of the Ancient Debris are on that level).
  2. You can only use either a Diamond Pickaxe or Netherite Pickaxe to mine Ancient Debris.
  3. Feel free to use TNT, since Ancient Debris has high blast resistance, it immunes to an explosion. Using TNT also speeds up the process of finding Ancient Debris too.

There is another way to get Ancient Debris, trough the Bastion Remnant Chest. Sometimes you can find Ancient Debris in there. But you have to be careful opening the Chest inside the Bastion Remnant can provoke the Piglins.Smelting Ancient Debris into Netherite Scrap using Blast Furnace

After you’ve got the Ancient Debris, you need to smelt them using Furnace (or Blast Furnace if you want to quicker). You will get Netherite Scrap after you smelt the Ancient Debris.

They are many different ways to get Gold Ingot. So here they are:

1. Get Gold Ingot inside the Chest.Chest

You can find the Chest in most places, like Dungeon, Mineshaft, Bastion Remnant, Buried Treasure, Desert Temple, End City, Jungle Temple, Nether Fortress, Ruined Portal, Shipwreck (Java Edition only), Stronghold, Village, and Woodland Mansion. 

There are also Gold Blocks inside the Ocean Monument that later can be crafted into Gold Ingots.

2. Killing Mobs.Zombified Piglin and Drowned

Zombified Piglins and Drowned have a chance to drop Gold Ingot. Try to kill them.

3. Craft it.Crafting Gold Ingot

You can craft Gold Ingots from 9 Gold Nuggets, or you can use Gold Block to get 9 Gold Ingots.

4. Mining Gold Ore or Nether Gold Ore.Gold Ore and Nether Gold Ore

The genuine way to obtain Gold Ingot is by mining the Ores. There 2 Ores that can be mined. First is Gold Ore that can be found in the underground (Y=30) or Badland (Y=30 – 80). Try mine in Badland if it is possible.

There is only one way to get Netherite Ingot besides crafting it. Netherite Ingot can be found inside the Bastion Remnant Chest. But once again, you have to be careful of Piglins and Brute Piglin too.
